Meet the Artist

Hello Tattoo Friends!

Welcome!

Professional Focus:

As an artist, my goal is to provide an easygoing, laid-back experience for my clients, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued throughout their journey. I strive to be the tattoo artist I always wished to encounter, focusing on creating a positive and memorable experience while delivering meaningful artwork.

I specialize in custom designs inspired by pop culture, including video games, nostalgic cartoons, and anime, as well as Afro Americana themes. While this is my primary focus, I also enjoy working on a variety of tattoo styles, from small blackwork and lettering to minimal pieces and more.

Origin Story:

I am a westside Detroit native with a lifelong passion for creating art. I attended the University of Michigan, where I earned a bachelor's degree and taught myself graphic design, which I leveraged into a corporate design role after graduation. The onset of COVID-19 and the shift to remote work provided me with the time to seriously consider pursuing tattooing.

My journey began with a small pink machine from Amazon that my girlfriend bought because she believed my dream. I started off tattooing fake skins in our apartment during lockdown, using supplies recommended by a friend who had just begun a traditional apprenticeship. After a few months of practicing inconsistently at home, I decided to sit down with Kevin McLeod, the owner of Detroit Grand Tattoo Co. and Witch House Tattoo, to discuss an apprenticeship. Kevin, who had been my tattoo artist for years and had often encouraged me to join his shop, agreed to bring me in. The rest is history.
